This is the second bag to become of the three eco-print leaf prints I have cut out. When laid out flat it reminded me of the green man, which has been a meaningful symbol floating around my psyche as of late. So, while it came out to be a more feminine pouch in nature, I found the name fitting.

The stunning view of the eco-print leaf, pads the bottom of this bag. A line of hand stitching runs around the leaf, holding the lining in place to the bag. It is lined with a 100% silk charmeuse and padded with a layer of flannel. 

On the outside of the bag I have sewn with a double layer of stitching, a sweet briar rose print, a willow herb, and fern print on silk. Little onion skin prints adorn the spaces in between, looking like little gems.
