Flannel, which brings more structure and an added layer of protection without the fluff of the cotton battings. 
 
Light or Heavy cotton batting (See About the Materials page for more info)

Every bag has a layer of cotton padding on the very bottom for an added layer of protection for any stone or item kept in the center.
