A beautiful and one-of-a-kind art pouch. This is a size mini pouch, made with an ivory colored linen as the exterior fabric, and a dreamy, yellow and green eco-printed dupioni lining. I had fun weaving scraps of dupioni through the linen fabric and sewing on little patches and eco-printed leaves to the outside. 

The eco-printed lining used large leaf avens, japanese maple, willow herb, blackberry leaves, and creeping buttercup flowers. It was mordanted with a recipe which used a higher porportion of alum to iron, and produced a very light, yellow and green tinted print that inspired the textures I added to the outside.
