This is my absolute favorite little canvas art to be born from the first batch of explorations. A nest of cotton canvas strings encloses a single mother of pearl chip bead, like a little egg in a nest. It sits upon a simple, but beautifully textured collage background of silk dupioni, and eco-printed silk and cotton scraps. My absolute favorite feature is the stark and beautiful orange creeping buttercup print that sits in the upper right. It floated around on my table for sometime waiting to be made into something special <3 It reminds me of all the flower girls and faeries of my childhood! A truly special decoration for someone whose heart it is calling!

I hung little clear quartz points intermittent with beige glazed ceramic beads. Any of these art pieces would look beautiful displayed on the wall or in front of a window where the sunlight will illuminate it on occasion, and create such a special moment of awe and beauty for you to remember and enjoy!
 
A gorgeous little forked hazelnut branch holds this piece at the top. I collect all of my sticks from fallen branches on my property. I loved this stick for this piece in particular because it reminds me of a forked branch that a bird might fancy to build its nest in!
 
You can choose to hang it with one of two small thumbtacks, picture nails, or use the additional twine included with your purchase to fasten to your stick and adjust it to your preference when hanging!
