A gorgeous, handcrafted set of earthy and mysterious coin pouches! This pair accumulated on my sewing table together after a couple days of playing with stamps and sewing! I seized the happenstance of gorgeousness as is my favorite thing to do!

I dyed the dark purple fabric using an oak gall tannin blanket, and got the outlines of cleavers, and lemonbalm, and prints of our native avens species, and trailing blackberry, which came out bronze, and green. 

The stamped bags are made with a soft, washed, natural white linen, and stamped with a wood block stamp using my handmade oak gall ink. For stamping on fabric with the oak gall ink I mix in a fabric paint medium which I then heat set to make the print more washable!

The eco-print bags have oversized wood beads on their drawstrings, and the linen stamped bags have small ceramic glazed beads.
