I drafted the pattern for this pouch from one I received from my great grandmother, which fascinated me as a child. Traditionally used to carry jewelry while traveling, these bags quickly became relevant to me as a person who wanted to take my crystals everywhere with me. I also use them to carry small parts I need for knitting, mending, and other personal products.
 
This listing is for a large size bag. You can choose from a number of beautiful and expressive cotton fabrics for the exterior of the pouch and wonderfully soft Tencel fabric for the interior lining. Or feel free to opt for a cotton print for the lining as well.
 
Every bag has a layer of cotton batting on the very bottom and is completed with your choice of natural white or black twine, and gold, light, medium, or dark wood beads.
 
You will notice I added Black Tencel Twill as a lining option. Please note it is a twill texture and does not have the satin-weave like the other Tencel colors. I purchased this fabric bolt as a sample for a future line of bags but wanted to start offering this color to those of you who like it!
 
EXTRA PADDING ADD-ON:
You can purchase extra padding along with your custom pouch in order for me to add padding. The bag itself is fairly thin without padding, only having one layer of cotton, one layer of Tencel, and one layer of a thin cotton interfacing. The pouch without additional padding may be more practical depending on what you're carrying and if you prefer to keep it lower profile. Adding padding is good for protecting softer, more delicate stones especially if you are traveling and in for a rougher ride.
