A beautiful and fun new addition to the shop especially for all the other creative beings out there! I made myself a couple slow-stitch pincushions, and I had so much fun that I began sewing together a bunch of quilted squares in pleasing combinations to make a bunch for my shop! 
 
These pincushions have two internal layers, on the bottom for weight is a sack of separately enclosed micro or larger glass pellets, which won't damage pins, or grow mold or mildew! The top half is stuffed with washed wool, which still contains trace amounts of lanolin, which will protect your pins from rust over time.
 
The backing is a sturdy cotton canvas fabric. The center is pulled in tightly by a beautiful mother of pearl shell bead to complete the gorgeous natural beauty that these little function pieces are. The back is similarly mirrored with a wooden button.
