A gorgeous, handcrafted set of earthy and playful coin pouches! I loved the first four pack I made so much I wanted to make another set but with a whole different type of eco-print fabric to give a whole different effect. 
 
This fabric was printed with some cultivated species like Purple scabiosa, and creeping jenny, but also includes slices of bitter dock root, and wild lettuce leaves. 

This set perfectly brings to life nature's subtle colors and shapes and they all go so swimmingly together. For me, the pieces with the fish stamps really makes me feel what it is like to look down into a pond, to get to see the beauty of the leaves and nature's debris, even the discolored ones that have sunk down through the water column- all amongst the the sight and flicker of a fish under the reflection of the water. 

The stamped bags are made with a soft, washed, natural white linen, and stamped with a wood block stamp using my handmade oak gall ink. For stamping on fabric with the oak gall ink I mix in a fabric paint medium which I then heat set to make the print more washable!
