I've been loving to stamp these fish onto eco-print fabric that makes it look like a little pond. This fabric was particularly gorgeous and moody, it resulted from a dye experiment where I wrapped up leaves in a bundle to print them in an abstract 'tye dye' method as opposed to a clear print. After I got some cool textures and colors from that, I decided to bundle them up on a rod and over-print the fabric with japanese maple leaves.
This is a medium sized coin pouch, measuring 4.25" wide by 4.5" tall.
For the stamping I mix a handmade oak gall ink with a fabric paint medium, which is then heat set to the fabric. I still recommend spot cleaning for these bags, but if it needs to be washed, use lukewarm water with a very gentle laundry soap (no detergents), and do not soak. Absorb extra moisture with a hand towel and hang dry.
